If you prayed the prayer above and received Jesus and God's FREE GIFT of Eternal Life, you have been Born Again. (John 3:3-7)

You have been born of the Holy Spirit. (John 3:5-8)

You have been born of God. (John 1:12-13)

You have been born of the eternal, incorruptible seed of the Word of God. (1 Peter 1:23)

You didn't get remodeled, renovated, improved, tweaked, whitewashed or tuned up. 

You became a brand new creation that never existed before. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15)

You have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Your sins have been removed and are gone forever. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Revelation 1:5, Psalm 103:12)

God has no remembrance of your sins. (Hebrews 8:12, Hebrews 10:17)

Spiritual growth and transformation only come one way.

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: (1 Peter 2:2)

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)

We renew our minds, which leads to spiritual growth and transformation, with the Word of God.

Jesus has taken care of this for you. He is now your advocate and the propitiation (payment) for your sins. (1 John 2:1-2)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

When you got born again, you got a new spirit; you did not get a new body, and you did not get a new mind. Transformation only occurs as YOU renew your mind by feeding on the Word of God.

The word used for "transformation" is the word metamorphoo from which we get our English word "metamorphosis" which means to be completely changed into another form as the caterpillar changes into a beautiful butterfly!

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
