About Rich Stocks
Rich Stocks is an Author, Bible Teacher, Business Owner, and Certified Holistic Health Coach. Born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, he grew up in a Christian home. At the age of 19, Rich heard the Word of Faith message for the first time, igniting a deep hunger to know more about the Word of God and walking by faith. He began reading and listening to teaching materials in every spare moment he could find. During this season, he also received the baptism with the Holy Spirit and spoke with other tongues. Just a few weeks later, Rich was invited to speak at a small church. Since then, the Lord has opened doors for him to teach the Word of God on radio and television, as well as to business groups, Bible schools, and churches across the U.S., Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines. He currently hosts The Healthy Christian, a television broadcast airing throughout the United States and the continent of Africa.
Rich has had a strong passion for health, healing, and longevity since early childhood. In addition to teaching on these topics from a Scriptural perspective, he entered the wellness industry in 1997. Over the past 27 years, he has helped tens of thousands of people regain and maintain their health by combining Biblical principles with practical strategies for healthy living.
Although he embraced the message of prosperity found in the Bible, Rich’s early years were marked by financial struggles. When presented with the opportunity to start his wellness business for just six dollars, he was so broke that it took him several days to come up with the money to get started. As the Lord helped him learn and apply these kingdom principles, what started very small quickly grew into a successful national and international business.
The growth of his business provided Rich with the time and resources to attend and graduate from Rhema Bible College. He later returned to college (Central Methodist University) to complete a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a degree he first began working on while still in high school.
Rich and his entire family had the privilege of living in Australia for a year in 2003, a season they greatly enjoyed.
Today, Rich Stocks Ministries is based in Branson, Missouri.
